BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE BORNBOUND PHOTOSHOOT

BornBound are excited to have renowned photographer Michael Blann working on visual direction and photography for the brand. Michael has worked with some of the most prestigious cycling and triathlon brands in the world and in this shoot he created some breathtaking images for BornBound to launch the brand with. The 2 day shoot took place on the UK's North Devon coast in October 2022.

Day 1 was shot in the OSKC Watersports boat room in Combe Martin, just down the road from Occhio HQ, and on day 2 we were blessed with incredible weather on Woolacombe Beach. BornBound ambassadors and triathletes Jack Hutchens and Annie Emmerson were joined by triple Olympian and sprint kayaker/canoeist Jess Walker as our models. Dan James filmed and created the brilliant video content from behind the scenes and also created our music for the video shorts. Woolacombe Beach is also home to the stunning and challenging Croyde Ocean Triathlon, for which BornBound will be the sponsor in 2023.
